Butoh työpajassa muun muassa: harjoitusten kautta lähestymme läsnäoloa, tietoisuutta, tilan, ajan ja energian kuuntelua ja aistimista, vahvistettua kontaktia itseen, toiseen ja ympäristöön. Tutkimme kehon keskustasta lähtevää liikettä ja liikkumattomuutta, seisomista ja omaa liikettä mielikuvien avulla ja liikkeellisten periaatteiden herättämänä. Lisäksi teemme improvisaatioita, lyhyitä esityksellisiä etydejä, joissa kokemaansa saa annetun idean sisällä tutkia ja kokeilla, antaa kokemukselle elämä ja elämälle kokemus. Butoh luovana energiana ja liikkeenä.
