100 Drops
«100 Drops» is a project that combines butoh dance of Osku Leinonen, visual art and live video projection. During a performance visual artist Masha Salangina manipulates video projection versatile ways, which creates totally unknown space and time. Main element is the water. Performer's body, skin, movements and costume make a dance of unreal world with the incoming light stream. The spectators confront unique experience of new kind of aesthetics. A boundary between skin, movement and the light dissolves.
As artists we wish that by experiencing beauty human starts to focus precious details in life. And so gets an opportunity to understand better how even smallest acts can effect strongly; the world is finally an infinite wondrous, and so is human life.
